The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) invites applications for Civil Services Examination 2025. This is India's most prestigious examination for recruitment to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and other Allied Services.
The examination consists of three stages: Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Personality Test (Interview).
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a citizen of India
- Should hold a Degree from a recognized University
- Age: 21 to 32 years as on 1st August 2025
- Upper age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PWD
- Maximum 6 attempts for General, 9 for OBC, unlimited for SC/ST (till age limit)
✅ Selection Process
- Preliminary Examination - Two objective type papers (GS Paper I + CSAT)
- Main Examination - Nine written papers (descriptive type)
- Personality Test / Interview - 275 marks
